Sleep, Yoga and ???
After a decade, I left my old research fellow job at the start of November. Having not had enough of my November activities, sleep and yoga, quite yet, I’m not looking to start something new immediately, but am starting to, slowly, look around for something from January. I should probably start putting my CV together soon. I’ve not had to for a while.
My question for you, is simple; what interesting projects are there starting or going on, that you would really like to be involved in? It can be your own thing, friends’ projects, unconnected, or really off the wall stuff. Feel free to suggest things that you think I might have heard of. I’ve been ignoring a good chunk of stuff lately, and so may not know what you think I know.
The only requirement is that there’s a remote possibility that they could pay me enough to pay for food, yoga and rent. Or be enough fun that I’ll not notice 😉
Feel free to answer by email rather than publicly here: s@mSmith.net . I’m also always happy to chat over coffee if you’re near Cambridge or London. Last week was my first week since April when I wasn’t in London. I might just make it to a fortnight.
[I appreciate that writing this a few days before the Chancellor’s Autumn Statement, and scheduling it for publication after, means that things might be moving quite fast for all]
