OpenTech 2015
We sent something to the Opentech announcement list.
OpenTech will be 10 years old in 2015.
We’ll be back on June 13th 2015, for the usual mix of technology and everything else, doing things they possibly weren’t intended to do. You’re on our list because you either attended a previous event and wanted to hear more, or you signed up another way. Sorry for not getting in touch in the last year (there was no 2014 event).
For now, there’s a date for your diary, and we’ll open a call for talks in a couple of weeks. If there’s something you’d like to hear about at OpenTech next year, we’d love to hear what you’d like to hear about, and we’ll see what we can do.
We’ll try and base a substantial amount of the programme around some of the ideas that Phil Gyford talks about in this “Tech Tunnel Vision” blog and list of interesting talk ideas: http://www.gyford.com/phil/writing/2014/09/23/tunnel-vision.php
OpenTech is only possible because of our wonderful and generous sponsor, which for 2015, we don’t have yet. It costs £4,000 (+VAT) to run OpenTech, and if you’d like to have your organisation benefit from an association with opentech, get in touch we can have a chat about how we might be able to work together: opentech@opentech.org.uk
OpenTech is best enjoyed with friends, so feel free to tell yours 🙂
